We have already seen a Nexus S i9023 running Android 2.4. At the time we though that the OS build will be dubbed “Ice Cream”. Now we heard that it might not. Anyway, we have also seen an Android-based ViewSonic ViewPad 4 smartphone back at CES in January. So now it turns up that the ViewPad will be one of the first not only smartpohnes but devices in general to come out with Android 2.4 Ice Cream onboard. We will find out in early April whether the name is or isn’t correct. There is, of course, a lot of hype going around the even later 3.0 Honycomb version and it is certain that 2.4 is a minor release, but it appears so that 2.4 will be able to run 3.0 apps in their full functionality. Other Android 2.4 devices will also come in April and not any earlier. Gadget review,Gadget reviews and prices, free download software , and tech news
